i find it really annoying that even now, in the year of 2014, all these shows that want to "portray" korean culture, find only japanese and chinese actors to play them (only exception is lost, with the korean actress. that guy doesn't understand or korean for jack shit).  seriously.. if the actor or actress is japanese, just say they are JAPANESE. i.e. in gilmore girls. lane KIM? more like lane takahashi. she is SOO japanese, and so is her mom. i hate that they portray korean culture in such an untruthful and demeaning way, and don't even hire korean actors and actresses to portray it. WOW. and at least that happened in the 90's.  the "two broke girls"..... hip and modern, right? with it's racist jokes, it's weird sex jokes.... yeah ok.. trying to push boundaries, get it. but, WHY are you making han korean?! he is NOT korean. and then his "korean mom" who is AGAIN japanese, and his weird stripper girlfriend who is supposed to be KOREAN but is AGAIN JAPANESE..... what is that?!?!?!?! just say that han is chinese or japanese!!! or get an ACTUAL KOREAN ACTOR WHO SPEAKS KOREAN to play the role!!!!!!!!! cotdamn hollywood is STILL SO damn racist. i hate it. i'm so annoyed.

if you want to portray korean culture, at least fucking do it right. with koreans. japanese people are NOT korean.
